BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced Thursday that tickets for the Hokies’ men’s basketball ACC opener against Duke are now sold out. The game will be played at noon on Dec. 31 at the Virginia Tech Carilion Court at Cassell Coliseum.
The sellout was achieved in just one day, as tickets for all ACC home games went on sale to Hokie Club members and season ticket holders on Wednesday morning. Any remaining ACC single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. A limited number of tickets are available for the rest of the non-conference games this season.
This marks the second sellout of the season. Tech’s home-opening win against Maine was also a sellout.
Tickets start at $10 for youth, and $20 for adults and can be purchased online at HokieTickets.com. Youth tickets are extremely limited and should be purchased in advance. A student lottery will be held for the Duke game.
Tech hosts Mississippi at noon on Sunday, Dec. 11 and The Citadel on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. Tickets for both games are still available.
