ANN ARBOR, MICH. - The Virginia Tech men's basketball team will play Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. ET in Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The game is part of the 2016 ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

THE HOKIES (5-1)
The Hokies are 5-1 on the season. Tech defeated Nebraska, 66-53, in the third place game of the Wooden Legacy in Anaheim, California on Sunday. Zach LeDay had 19 points and nine rebounds and Ahmed Hill scored all 12 of his points in the second half for the Hokies. LeDay was named to the All-Tournament team at the Wooden Legacy.

THE WOLVERINES (5-1)
Michigan enters the game 5-1 on the season. The Wolverines defeated Mount St. Mary’s, 64-47, in Ann Arbor on Saturday. Michigan is led by Derrick Walton Jr., averaging 13.8 points per game and Zak Irvin averaging 12.8 points per game. The Wolverines are coached by John Beilein, in his 10th season at Michigan.

THE SERIES
This is the sixth all-time meeting between the two schools and the Wolverines hold the series lead at 4-1. The last time the two schools met was on Nov. 24, 2002, when the Hokies won, 65-53, in the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, V.I. Tech is 0-1 in Ann Arbor, losing to Michigan, 84-63, in the 1974 Michigan Tournament. Tech is 35-51 all-time against schools currently in the Big Ten.

Up Next: The Hokies return to Blacksburg a week from tonight, hosting Maryland-Eastern Shore. Game time is 8:30 p.m. and the contest will be shown on ACC Network EXTRA.
