THE HOKIES (4-1)
The Hokies are 4-1 on the season. The Hokies lost to Texas A&M, 68-65, in the semifinal of the Wooden Legacy in Fullerton, California on Friday. Ahmed Hill scored 18 points for the Hokies, on 6-11 from three-point range. Justin Robinson added 14 points for Tech.
THE HUSKERS (4-1)
Nebraska enters the game 4-1 on the season. Nebraska lost to UCLA, 82-71 in the semifinal of the Wooden Legacy in Fullerton, California on Thursday. The Huskers are led in scoring by Tai Webster, averaging 17.6 points per game.
THE SERIES
This is just the second all-time meeting between the two schools. Tech won the only other meeting, 87-81, in the Puerto Rico Shootout in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Nov. 26, 1994. Tech is 34-51 all-time against schools currently in the Big Ten.
