BLACKBURG, Va. -- The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced that a men’s basketball mini plan and non-conference single-game tickets will go on sale to Hokie Club members and current season-ticket holders on Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. Non-conference single game tickets and mini plans will go on sale to the general public on Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.
The 5-Game Flex Plan is priced at $150 and includes tickets to the Duke, Notre Dame and Syracuse games, plus the purchaser’s choice of tickets to two of the following games: VMI, The Citadel, Charleston Southern, UMBC. The mini plan, in addition to season ticket plans, are the only ways to ensure the ability to purchase tickets for these key ACC games.
Ticket prices for non-conference games are $15 (Beyond the Arc), $25 (Top of the Key), $30 (The Paint). This is the same ticketing price level as each of the last two seasons. Youth tickets are $10 for these games, and will be limited in availability. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets well in advance of the game to ensure a ticket.
ACC single-game tickets will go on sale later this fall, based on availability. With added demand this season and strong student ticket sales, the athletics department does not anticipate single game sales of the Duke, Notre Dame, Syracuse or Virginia games.
Coca-Cola Family 4 Packs are also on sale beginning Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. Packages are $48 and include 4 tickets, 4 drink and 4 hotdogs. This ticket promotion is offered for the VMI, Charleston Southern, and UMBC games, while supplies last.
The Hokies, under third-year head coach Buzz Williams, are coming off a season that saw Tech win 20 games, including 10 in the ACC, the toughest conference in college basketball. Tech opens the 2016-17 season on Friday, Nov. 11 at 9 p.m. against the University of Maine at Carilion Court at Cassell Coliseum. Tech plays three home games in November.
Season tickets are still available, and for as little as $11/game. Tickets in the “Beyond the Arc” ($199) section are extremely limited. The only way to ensure a ticket to games this season is to purchase season tickets. To purchase tickets, please call or visit the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-VATECH4 or go online to Hokietickets.com
