Basketball season tickets on sale now to public
No increase again this season for either men's or women's tickets

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Season tickets for the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball seasons are on sale now to the public through the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office. Multiple options are available to better serve the ticket-purchasing community.

Benefits from purchasing either men’s or women’s basketball season tickets or both include savings over individual game tickets, access to personal season ticket account executive, special offers from Virginia Tech’s online apparel shop, option to purchase mini plans and single game tickets before the public, exclusive items and giveaways, in-game recognitions and more.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Tiered ticket pricing returns this season, with all season tickets remaining the same price as each of the last two seasons. The primary high-demand areas, “The Paint” have season tickets available for $495, or $445 for faculty/staff. The mid-range areas, “Top of the Key” are priced at $360, and the upper regions of Cassell Coliseum, “Beyond the Arc”, are just $199 for a season’s seat.

Purchasing season tickets now allows fans many overall benefits. Season ticket holders will enjoy up to a savings from single-game tickets (depending on the game and price level), a personal season ticket service executive, an option to purchase single game tickets prior to the general public, ACC Tournament tickets (based on availability), season ticket holder recognitions during select games and messages on the video board.

The Hokies are coming off an exceptional season. The Hokies defeated two top-10 teams and won 20 games for first time in five years. Tech was 14-5 at home, including a 7-2 record in ACC play. The Hokies finished the regular season winning the final five games and followed that with a win over Florida State in the ACC Tournament. Tech made its first post-season appearance since 2011, advancing to the second round of the NIT.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

For women’s basketball, season tickets are available for $90 for an adult reserved seat ($80 for faculty/staff), $30 for a youth reserved seat, $70 for an adult general admission season pass and $25 for a youth general admission season pass.

Additional benefits for purchasing women’s basketball season tickets include a savings off of the single-game ticket price, free parking adjacent to Cassell Coliseum, exclusive giveaways, opportunities for messages on the video board, as well as a chance to be recognized as the Season Ticket Holder of the Game.

This should be an exciting season for the women’s basketball team, as Tech welcomes Kenny Brooks as the new head coach. Brooks comes to Blacksburg from JMU, where he took the Dukes to 11 consecutive post-season appearances, including six NCAA berths.
