Hokies, Miami meet in ACC quarterfinal
Tech looking to extend six-game winning streak

Virginia Tech will meet Miami in the quarterfinal of the 2016 New York Life ACC Tournament on Thursday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Game time is after 9 p.m. and the game will be televised by The ACC Network and ESPN.

About Tonight’s Game

The Hokies, the sixth seed in the 2016 ACC Tournament, are 19-13 overall … The Hurricanes are the third seed and are 24-6 overall ... Miami is ranked 11th in both polls.

Last Time Out: VT 96, FSU 85

The Hokies extended their winning streak to six games with a 96-85 victory over Florida State in the second round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday night ... Seth Allen came off the bench to score 20 points to lead four Hokies in double-figures ... Tech never trailed in the game and shot 53.7 percent from the field.

Series Against the Hurricanes
