The Hokies earned their second ACC road win of the season with a 71-56 victory at Boston College on Tuesday night … Tech led throughout most of the game … Seth Allen led the Hokies with 14 points, four assists and a season-high four steals … Justin Bibbs recorded his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Kerry Blackshear Jr., came off the bench with 10 points and five rebounds.
Series Against the Demon Deacons
The Hokies lead the all-time series, 31-30 … Tech has won the last two meetings, most recently a 93-91 victory in Cassell Coliseum in January … Tech is 7-17 in road games in the series and 3-5 in the LJVM Coliseum … Tech is 11-6 against the Demon Deacons since joining the ACC in the 2004-05 season, 9-6 in ACC regular season games.
Road Ws
The Hokies’ 71-56 victory over Boston College at the Conte Forum on Tuesday night was Tech’s second ACC road win of the season, the first time that Tech has won two conference games on the road since wining three ACC road games in the 2010-11 season.
