Zach LeDay came off the bech with 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Hokies to a 60-57 win over Clemson on Saturday ... That marked his eighth double-double of the season and first in ACC play ... That is the most double-doubles for a Hokie since Jeff Allen had 15 double-doubles in the 2010-11 season ... Led by LeDay’s eight double-doubles, the Hokies have 14 double-doubles this season, the most since that same 2010-11 season, when Tech played combined for 18 double-doubles.
Cassell Heated Up in February
The Hokies defeated Clemson on Saturday in a sold-out Cassell Coliseum ... That marked Tech’s third sellout of the season and its first February sellout against a team other than Virginia, Duke or North Carolina since Feb. 18, 2012, a sellout against Georgia Tech ... Tech sold out Cassell Coliseum later that season on March 4 against NC State.
