Last Wednesday night, he scored a Virginia Tech, career-high 26 points against Louisville and followed that by a new high of 28 points at Pittsburgh ... During that stretch of four games, he has made 37-of-45 free throw attempts, good for 82.2 percent ... Twenty-eight points is his Tech career-high; he scored 32 points at home against Florida State while playing at Maryland.
Overall, A Good Month
The Hokies finished the month of January 4-5 in ACC play ... That marks the fifth time that Tech had won four ACC games in January ... The most games Tech has ever won in January is five ... The Hokies were 5-2 in January in the 2006-07 season ... It must be pointed out that the nine total ACC games played in January 2016 is the most ACC games Tech has played in January.
Consistent Transfers
Twenty-two games into the season and Seth Allen and Zach LeDay have shown great consistency scoring points for the Hokies ... Both players sat out last season after transferring from Maryland and South Florida, respectively ... LeDay has scored in double-figures in 19 of the 22 games and Allen has scored in double-figures in 18 of the 22 games.
