BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech athletics department has announced that student season ticket plans for the 2015-16 men’s basketball season are on sale now. The student season ticket is $85, including fees. The price per game remains consistent from the last few years.
This season, the student season ticket includes 10 home games. The 10 games include opponents Alabama State, Jacksonville State, Northwestern, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Lamar during the non-conference slate and ACC foes North Carolina, Louisville, Clemson, Florida State and Pittsburgh.
Excluded from the student season ticket are the eight home games that occur over University break periods. Students can purchase individual tickets to the games during the holiday break for $7 each during the season ticket sales window. Those games include match ups with West Virginia, Miami, NC State, Wake Forest and in-state rival Virginia.
Student season tickets are on sale from Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. until Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. The purchase of student season tickets is the only way for students to guarantee a seat to men’s basketball games this season.
