BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced the beginning of season-ticket renewals for the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball slates.
Multiple options are available to better serve the ticket-purchasing community. Popular incentives return from last season and new features added this off-season will allow fans to customize all areas of their in-game experience.
“The upcoming men’s and women’s basketball seasons will highlight the continued growth of both programs,” Director of Athletics Whit Babcock said. “We are working to provide Hokie Nation with the best game-day fan experience in Cassell. The excitement generated last season will only grow as we enter the new school year.”
MEN’S BASKETBALL
The popular tiered ticket pricing returns this season, with all season tickets remaining the same price as 2014-2015. The primary, high-demand areas, “The Paint” have season tickets available for $495, or $445 for faculty/staff. The mid-range areas, “The Top of the Key” are priced at $360, and the upper regions of Cassell Coliseum, “Beyond the Arc” are just $199 for a season’s seat.
Another returning incentive is the Early Bird Special. Fans who take advantage of this and order season tickets by the June 22 deadline will receive an invitation to an exclusive “Meet the Team” event. Fans that take advantage of the Early Bird Special will receive a special offer from the official online HokieSports.com shop. To ensure priority seat selection, season tickets must be purchased by July 20.
Purchasing season-tickets now allows fans many benefits overall. Season ticket holders will enjoy up to a 15 percent savings from single-game tickets, depending on the game and price level, a personal season ticket service executive, an option to purchase single game tickets prior to the general public, ACC Tournament tickets (based on availability), season ticket holder recognitions during select games and messages on the video board.

In the last two years, Virginia Tech installed new, high-definition videoboards in each end zone, a new state-of-the-art sound system and all-new arena lighting; all aimed to enhance fan experience and interaction during games.
This season, the Hokies will offer an enhanced home non-conference men’s basketball slate, highlighted by a visit from arch-rival West Virginia and a Big Ten/ACC Challenge home game against Northwestern. In conference play, national powers North Carolina and Virginia will visit Blacksburg, as well as the first appearance of Louisville in Cassell Coliseum in more than 20 years.
The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team will once again welcome a competitive non-conference schedule to accompany the always-tough ACC slate.
