About Tonight’s Game

The Hokies enter tonight’s game 9-12 overall and 1-7 in ACC action … Syracuse is 14-7 overall and 5-3 in conference play … This is the second meeting between the two schools this season, as Syracuse defeated the Hokies, 68-66, in Cassell Coliseum on Jan. 7.

The Hokies dropped a tough road game at Wake Forest, 73-70, on Saturday afternoon ... The game was close throughout and the Hokies had a couple of looks in the final seconds to tie the game, but could not get the shots to fall ... A balanced scoring attack featured six Hokies in double figures, led by Adam Smith with 12 points and Devin Wilson and Ahmed Hill with 11 points each ... Justin Bibbs returned from missing the previous four games to score 10 points in 20 minutes of action.

Series Against the Orange

This will be the ninth meeting between the two schools, in a series that began in 1976 ...
