The Hokies lost at Florida State, 86-75, last Tuesday night … Justin Bibbs scored a career-high 25 points and Adam Smith added 24 points in the loss for the Hokies ... Series Against The Cardinals
This will be the 37th meeting between the two schools, in a series that began in 1978 ... The Hokies are 8-28 all-time against the Cardinals … Tech has lost the last nine meetings in the series, although the most recent meeting was in 1995 … Tech is 3-14 against Louisville in road games and 6-26 in conference games, all coming while both teams were members of the Metro Conference … This is the only meeting between the two schools this season … Tonight marks the first meeting between the two schools since the dissolution on the Metro Conference in 1995.
