Virginia Tech Ticket Plans E-Brochure

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced multiple new ticket packages for men’s basketball in Cassell Coliseum for the upcoming season.

These packages will allow the ticket-buying public new options to select ticket plans better suited to their individual needs and schedules. They will go on sale beginning Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting HokieTickets.com or calling 540-231-6731 or 1-800-VATECH4.

The new packages work in concert with the three distinct ticket sections in the arena, announced during the summer. Variable pricing allows fans to purchase multiple and single-game plans in “The Paint”, “Top of the Key” and the “Beyond the Arc” sections, each with a unique price.

The first of the packages is The Commonwealth Plan. This option offers “Beyond the Arc” seating for the four home games against competition from other colleges in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Liberty, VMI, Radford and Virginia). The price of this package is $50, for an average of just $12.50 per game and there is limited availability on these tickets.

The second of the options is a 5-Game Flex plan ($140). This allows fans to select “In the Paint” seating for two of the following four games: Syracuse, UVa, FSU, Miami. Then, if the fan selects the Orange plan, they will receive those two games plus Radford, The Citadel and Boston College. The Maroon plan is the two selected games plus Appalachian State, Alabama A&M and Georgia Tech.

Single-game tickets will be available at the following prices: Non-Conference games - $15, $25, $30, with youth tickets in the “Beyond the Arc” sections only $10. Non-conference single game tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m., based on availability; Weekday ACC games - $20, $30, $35 with youth tickets in the “Beyond the Arc” sections only $10 and Weekend ACC games - $25, $35, $40, with youth tickets in the “Beyond the Arc” sections only $20. Conference single-game tickets, if available, will go on sale at a date yet to be determined.

“The ticket packages continue our commitment to better serve our fan base,” Director of Athletics Whit Babcock said. “Recognizing that a ‘One Size Fits All’ approach does not work with today’s busy lifestyles, these wide array of packages allow our fan-base to select the plan that best serves their needs.”

Virginia Tech will welcome Miami, Virginia, Florida State, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Duke, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Notre Dame to Cassell Coliseum this season.

Last season, Virginia Tech installed new, high-definition video boards in each end zone to enhance fan enjoyment and interaction during games. This season, plans call for added fan amenities, including new arena lighting and sound systems.

Men’s basketball season tickets are still available beginning at $199. Fans can guarantee admission for all 18 home games for less than $12 per game.
