Virginia Tech will continue the current three-game homestand on Tuesday night, as they host the 14th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers. The game, to be televised live by The ACC Network, will tip-off at 9 p.m.
About Tonight’s Game
The Hokies are 9-15 on the season and 2-10 in ACC action.
The Cavaliers are 21-5 overall and 12-1 in the ACC after a 63-58 win at Clemson on Saturday.
The Cavaliers lead the all-time series, 85-53.
Virginia is ranked 14th in the AP poll and 16th in the coaches poll.
Virginia Tech 52, Miami 45
The Hokies broke back into the wins column on Saturday, as they defeated defending ACC champion Miami, 52-45, in Cassell Coliseum.
Devin Wilson scored 12 points (all in the final 3:37 of play) and dished out a record-tying nine assists.
C.J. Barksdale came off the bench to score 12 points and grab eight rebounds and Trevor Thompson tied a career-high with 12 rebounds.
Welcome Whit Babcock
On Monday, Feb. 17, Whit Babcock began work as the Director of Athletics at Virginia Tech.
Babcock is a 1992 graduate of James Madison University and a native Virginian.
Scoring 1,000
Jarell Eddie currently has 1,099 points at Virginia Tech and is 38th in career scoring for the Hokies.

Adam Smith (left calf strain) is out for tonight’s game and Cadarian Raines (illness) is questionable for the game.

Bobby Stevens has been named Virginia Tech’s “ACC Legend” for 2014.
