Virginia Tech returns to Cassell Coliseum on Saturday evening to host defending ACC champion Miami. The game, to be televised on regional sports networks, is scheduled to tip-off at 6 p.m.

The Hurricanes are 12-12 overall and 3-8 in the ACC after a 77-73 win at Florida State on Monday night.

The Hokies dropped a heart-breaker, 62-57, in double overtime at No. 25/22 Pittsburgh last Saturday afternoon.
Jarell Eddie led the Hokies with 15 points and Devin Wilson and Joey van Zegeren scored 10 points each for Tech.
Cadarian Raines came off the bench and grabbed 11 rebounds, nine boards coming off the offensive glass.
Welcome Whit Babcock
On Friday, Jan. 24, Whit Babcock was hired as the new Director of Athletics at Virginia Tech.
Babcock is a 1992 graduate of James Madison University and a native Virginian.
He will begin his duties at Virginia Tech on Feb. 17
