On Friday, Jan. 24, Whit Babcock was hired as the new Director of Athletics at Virginia Tech.
Currently the Director of Athletics at the University of Cincinnati, Babcock is a 1992 graduate of James Madison University and a native Virginian.

Adam Smith (left calf strain) is out for at least the next week and C.J. Barksdale (strained groin) is questionable for today’s game.
