Virginia Tech vs. Furman Game Notes

Virginia Tech returns to Cassell Coliseum on Tuesday night to host Furman. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. and the game will be shown on ESPN3.

About Tonight’s Game

The Hokies are 3-3 on the season.

The Paladins are 2-2 after falling to the College of Charleston, 89-55 on Saturday.

Virginia Tech leads the all-time series, 13-12.

Seton Hall 68, VT 67

The Hokies dropped a heart-breaker to Seton Hall, 68-67, in the consolation game of the Coache Vs. Cancer Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night.

Jarell Eddie registered his first double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds, along with four blocks and four assists.

Ben Emelogu added 18 points and Adam Smith scored 11 points for the Hokies.

Smith Gets Hot

Adam Smith scored just three points in the first half, but scored 24 points in the second half in the loss to #1 Michigan State.

Barksdale Returns

C.J. Barksdale returned to the Virginia Tech line-up in the win over VMI following his three-game suspension. He came off the bench with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Up Next

Tech will host New River Valley rival Radford at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon in Cassell Coliseum.

Eddie Career High

Jarell Eddie ade a career-high six three-pointers in the loss to No. 1 Michigan State on Friday.

Eddie has made 14-of-22 three-point field goals in the last three games.

Wilson Dishes

Devin Wilson’s eight assists in the Seton Hall game are the most by a Tech freshman since 2008.
