BLACKSBURG (hokiesports.com) — The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced today that men’s and women’s basketball season tickets for the 2013-14 seasons are on sale now to the general public.

The men will have 18 home games this season, including nine ACC games against the likes of North Carolina, Boston College, Clemson, Wake Forest, Maryland, Miami, Virginia, NC State and conference newcomer Syracuse. The Hokies also welcome old rivals West Virginia, VMI and Radford in nonconference games at Cassell Coliseum.

The women will have 16 home games, including eight ACC games against Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State, Pittsburgh, in-state rival Virginia and 2013 ACC Tournament champion Duke. The Hokies’ slate also features eight non-conference games in Blacksburg, including five teams that saw postseason action last season. Highlighting the nonconference home schedule are contests with Florida, Michigan State and in-state foe Richmond.
