Hokies' ACC opponents for 2013-14 announced

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced the ACC opponents and game sites for the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team for the 2013-14 season on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hokies will play an 18-game regular season schedule and will face each of the possible 14 opponents at least once. Tech will face four of those schools both home and away. Virginia and Miami will be full-time partners with the Hokies and Tech will also play home and home with Maryland and Boston College in the 2013-14 season.

Virginia Tech will play nine home games and nine away contests during ACC regular season competition. Home opponents in Cassell Coliseum will include Clemson, North Carolina, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, and Syracuse, along with Miami, Virginia, Maryland and Boston College.

The road opponents for the Hokies in the 2013-14 season are Florida State, Georgia Tech, Duke, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame, along with Miami, Virginia, Maryland and Boston College. The entire Virginia Tech 2013-14 men’s basketball schedule will be released at a later date.
