BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech will put a wrap on the 2012-13 regular season schedule on Sunday afternoon at Wake Forest. The game, which will tip-off at 2 p.m., will be televised live by The ACC Network.

The Hokies are 13-17 on the season and 4-13 in ACC play after an 85-57 loss at No. 3/4 Duke on Tuesday night.
Wake Forest is 12-17 overall and 5-12 in ACC action after an 81-66 loss at NC State on Wednesday night.

Erick Green led all scorers with 25 points, as the Hokies lost at No. 3/4 Duke on Tuesday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Jarell Eddie scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the loss.

Green needs eight points to become the 12th player in Virginia Tech history to score 1,700 career points and needs 49 points to become the first player in Virginia Tech history to score 800 points in a single season. He needs 35 points to set a new school record for points in a single season.

Jarell Eddie and Christian Beyer have been named to the 2012-13 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men’s Basketball team. This is Eddie’s second year on the team and the first season for Beyer.
Odds & Ends
The Hokies have played in four of the six overtime games played this season by ACC teams. Tech defeated Georgia Tech and lost at UNC and at NC State in the only ACC conference overtime games this season.
Virginia Tech shot 54.8 percent from the field in the win over Clemson. That is the highest field goal percentage of the year for the Hokies.
