BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech travels to Atlanta on Saturday to face Georgia Tech in an ACC contest. This will be the Hokies' first visit to McCamish Pavilion, the Yellow Jackets' new home.
About Today’s Game
The Hokies are 9-6 on the season and 0-2 in ACC play after falling to Boston College, 86-75, on Wednesday night in Cassell Coliseum.
Georgia Tech is 10-4 overall and 0-2 in ACC action after an 83-70 loss at NC State on Wednesday night.

Erick Green scored 24 points to lead the Hokies in the ACC home opener. Jarell Eddie scored 21 points in the loss.
The Hokies played without Robert Brown, who missed the game with a high fever.
Wood Out
Virginia Tech freshman forward Marshall Wood is out indefinitely after fracturing the third metatarsal in his left foot in the loss to Georgia Southern.
Green Notes
Erick Green leads the ACC and the nation in scoring.
Green has scored 20-or-more points in 14 games this season, double the number of the second person on that list, Boston College’s Ryan Anderson.
Honors for Green
Erick Green has been named a watch list finalist for the Bob Cousey Award, given annually to the top point guard in the nation. Green has also been named to the John R. Wooden Award’s Midseason Top 25. Wooden Award given to nation’s best player.
