BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The Virginia Tech Hokies open the ACC portion of their home schedule on Wednesday night, hosting the Eagles of Boston College. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised live by regional sports networks.
About Tonight’s Game
The Hokies are 9-5 on the season and 0-1 in ACC play after losing at Maryland, 94-71, on Saturday afternoon.
Boston College is 8-6 overall and 0-1 in ACC action after a 78-73 loss to NC State on Saturday evening in Conte Forum.

Erick Green posted a new high in points for an ACC game with 28 points in the loss at Maryland. Robert Brown scored 11 points and Joey van Zegeren tied a career-high with 10 points in his first collegiate start. Cadarian Raines grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in the loss.
Wood Out
Virginia Tech freshman forward Marshall Wood is out indefinitely after fracturing the third metatarsal in his left foot in the loss to Georgia Southern.
