Hokies play Bradley in Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic
Tech to play two games in Las Vegas
Virginia Tech vs. Bradley Game Notes

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Virginia Tech will play Bradley in the third round of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic on Saturday night in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena. Tech will play either Portland or Colorado State on Sunday night.

About Tonight’s Game

The Hokies are 8-2 on the season after losing to Georgia Southern, 78-73, last Saturday.

Bradley was 7-2 on the season, entering its game on Dec. 19.

This is the first meeting between the two schools.

Erick Green tied a career-high 28 points in the loss.

Jarell Eddie scored 21 points for the Hokies.

This was the second round of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic.

Wood Out

Virginia Tech freshman forward Marshall Wood is out indefinitely after fracturing the third metatarsal in his left foot in the loss to Georgia Southern.

Green was Honored

Erick Green was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 25. This is the second consecutive week he has earned the award.

He was also named National Player of the Week by both SI.com and NBCSports.com that week.

The Hokies are 12th nationally in free throw percentage, 14th in 3pt FG%, 15th in scoring offense, and 24th in points.

Player Notes

Erick Green leads the ACC in scoring and Jarell Eddie is tied for fourth in the league in scoring.

Will Johnston has made 10 career field goals. All 10 are three-pointers. He hit three of them in the win over VMI, setting a new career-high nine points and matched that number in the win at UNC Greensboro.

Erick Green is second nationally in scoring and 41st in free throw percentage.
