Basketball Blackout Rally Towel design contest announced
Submit your design for a chance to win by Nov. 1

BLACKSBURG – With the start of basketball practice, the Virginia Tech basketball team wants your help designing the Blackout Rally Towel to be given out at the Blackout basketball game versus Maryland on Thursday, Feb. 7. The Blackout game is held annually in remembrance of Allen Calloway, former Tech basketball player who lost his battle with cancer.

The design must consist of up to three colors on one side of a black towel. The fan with the best design, as voted on by members of the athletics department staff and Coca-Cola, will win a $250 VISA gift card courtesy of Coca-Cola and an autographed team poster. All designs must be submitted via email to skiles@vt.edu or in person on a CD to the sports marketing office, 309 Cassell Coliseum, by 5 p.m., Nov. 1. The winner will be announced Nov. 10 on the official Virginia Tech Athletics Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hokiesports.
