BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech athletics department announced today a limited number of men’s and women’s basketball season tickets for the 2012-13 season are now on sale to the general public. A season ticket guarantees a fan a seat to every home game, including men’s matchups against Duke, Oklahoma State, Virginia, Iowa and Florida State, and women’s matchups against Duke, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Penn State and Maryland.

New this season, all men’s and women’s basketball season ticket holders (including both renewals and new accounts) will be automatically entered into the Countdown to Tip-Off Rewards Program. This program will provide the opportunity for all season ticket holders, both men’s and women’s, to win a premium prize on each of the 31 days of the countdown, with the last drawing occurring on Nov. 9.

The first drawing will take place on Oct. 10. Prizes include 40-inch flat screen TVs, iPods, gas cards, gift cards, autographed items, fan experience packages and much more! Winners will be announced daily on hokiesports.com, Facebook.com/HokieSports, and on Twitter @VTPromos.
