As a result of the attendance at Saturday’s ESPN College GameDay, $3,197 will be donated by State Farm to the Virginia Tech's Athletics Department. As a sponsor of College GameDay for the fifth consecutive year, State Farm donated $1 for every person that showed up to the broadcast. The Athletics Department will use the donation to help increase student involvement in campus athletics.
