Q: Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
PETTY: “When I came here I visited all the buildings, saw the students walking around and just fell in love with it immediately.”
Q: What was your favorite thing about your visit?
PETTY: “The girls were all really nice, and they showed me the Oasis snack bar which was really cool. The athletic facilities were insane.”
Q: What do you like about Coach Sung and the lacrosse program?
PETTY: “I like his intensity, how everyone is a part of the team and no one is there for themselves and the hard work that goes into it.”
Q: What are some of your strengths on the field?
PETTY: “Definitely my speed and quick movement. Also being able to see the field.”
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
PETTY: “I did follow Tony Romo. I loved him.”
Q: What is your most memorable lacrosse moment and why?
PETTY: “Definitely beating our high school rival, Ridge, and scoring during that game which was really cool.”
Q: What interests you about criminology?
PETTY: “I watch a lot of “Law and Order” and “Quantico.” I’ve always wanted to do that since I was little, it interests me a lot.”
Q: What’s one thing you’d want Virginia Tech fans to know about you?
PETTY: “I love chicken wings. I get traditional buffalo sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings.”

Q: Do you have any nicknames?
PETTY: “Everyone just calls me P.J.”
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
PETTY: Watching movies and going out hiking.
Q: What are some of your favorite movies?
PETTY: “I like zombie movies like “World War Z.”
