Q: Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
BERMAN: “I really liked the environment. I loved the coaches and the student-athlete experience.”
Q: What was your favorite thing about your visit?
BERMAN: “All the girls were so nice and welcoming, they showed us around and I really got to know them.”
Q: What do you like about Coach Sung and the lacrosse program?
BERMAN: “He really pushes us, which is a really good thing. It’s something that we need. Some coaches don’t push you as hard as you need to be pushed, or they push you too far. Coach Sung knows how to do it right.”
Q: Who is your favorite professional lacrosse player?
BERMAN: “Devon Wills. She’s a goalie and plays for Team USA. I think she’s the best goalie ever.”
Q: What is your most memorable lacrosse moment and why?
BERMAN: “When I started playing goalie in ninth grade. They just asked me to play and I did, and I loved it. Then last year we made it to the Final Four when we really weren’t supposed to. It was a great game.”
Q: What interests you about HNFE (human nutrition food and exercise science)?
BERMAN: “I really want to be a nurse or a P.A. I always wanted to go into a medical field, and I’ve always liked science, so I figured HNFE would be good for both of those.”
Q: What has been your favorite part about Virginia Tech so far?
BERMAN: “Getting to know the girls on the team, and getting to work together with everybody.”
BONUS ROUND:
Q: If you couldn’t play college lacrosse, what other team would you try out for?
BERMAN: “Basketball.”
Q: Do you have any pregame superstitions?
BERMAN: “Prayer.”
Q: What is your favorite class that you are enrolled in and why?
BERMAN: “Biology, because it’s most related to what I want to do later on.”
Q: What was the last good movie you saw?
BERMAN: “Bad Moms.”
Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
BERMAN: “Reading people’s minds.”
