Hokies ready for Fall Play Day Sunday

Tech travels to Washington, D.C. for Play Day on the campus of Georgetown

BLACKSBURG- The Virginia Tech lacrosse team is set for its fourth day of fall competition as they travel to Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Oct. 22 to take on the Elon Phoenix, Georgetown Hoyas and the University of Richmond Spiders.

Last weekend, the Hokies hit the road as they participated in the Navy Women’s Lacrosse Fall invitational.

“We had a really successful day last week at Navy and I want to see us build on that this weekend,” said John Sung. “We were able to have everyone play last week which was good to see how we are developing. I think we have to get into a rhythm and look for consistency.”

Tech’s schedule for Saturday:
10:30 a.m. - vs Elon
12:30 p.m. - vs Richmond
2:30 p.m. - vs Georgetown
