Bartley selected in UWLX supplemental draft
Former Hokie set to play professionally

BLACKSBURG – Meg Bartley, a former Virginia Tech lacrosse standout was selected by the Baltimore Ride with the 17th pick of the United Women’s Lacrosse League supplemental draft over the weekend. The Lewes, Delaware native will be the first Tech alum to play in the UWLX which was founded in 2016.
Bartley played attack for the Hokies from 2012-2015 earning 63 starts in 67 appearances. She finished her career with 113 goals, the eighth-most in program history to go along with 21 assists for 134 points.
Her 285 draw controls are the most in program history.
The UWLX is a four team league with franchises in Boston, Long Island, Philadelphia and Baltimore that compete in a 10-week season from May to August.
