Q: Why did you choose VT?

DOYLE: “I chose Virginia Tech because I feel like it was a great athletic and academic fit for me. I was also looking for a school with a close family feel and so far it’s met all my expectations.”

Q: What was your favorite thing about your visit?

DOYLE: “When I first came to visit I went to the football game and I had never experienced a game like that. I really enjoyed the jumping and crazy atmosphere.”

Q: What do you like about the lacrosse program?

DOYLE: “Coach Sung has really evolved the program and I think he is going to continue to do that. He does it in a way where he knows how to work with each player so that they can be the best player they can be.”

Q: What are some of your strengths on the field?

DOYLE: “I feel like I bring a level of intensity that will help push the other girls to be the best they can be.”

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?

DOYLE: “My ultimate idol would be Abby Wambach because I feel like she does it all. She’s a great person both on and off the field.”

Q: What is your most memorable lacrosse moment and why?

DOYLE: “This past year was our high school’s first time winning a state championship and I was honored to be a part of that team.”

Q: What do you think you’ll major in and why does it interest you?

DOYLE: “I am currently business undecided. Later on I think I want to follow the track of either business information technology or finance. It all started when I started playing the stock broking game back in middle school and ever since I have been drawn to the field of business.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about Virginia Tech so far?

DOYLE: “Being able to meet new people and going to the football games as a student!”

BONUS ROUND:

Q: If you couldn’t play college lacrosse, what other team would you try out for?

DOYLE: “I would try out for volleyball or basketball. I think that they’re both really cool sports.”

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

DOYLE: “I would want to be able to fly so that I could see everything from a different perspective and get places faster.”
