Hokies open fall schedule at High Point
Tech will play 11 opponents and conclude with Orange vs. Maroon game

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team has announced their 2015 fall schedule that will see the Hokies face 11 opponents before concluding with the annual Maroon vs. Orange game on Oct. 23. The fall season marks the start of the Hokies celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2015-16.

Tech will open the fall slate on the road as they travel to face High Point University on Sept. 30. The team will then face four teams on Oct. 10 in Liberty, Longwood, Davidson and Winthrop in Blacksburg. Four days later, Tech will host the Highlanders of Radford University at 6 p.m.

The team will then head north to face Towson on Oct. 16 in Towson, Md. before playing another round of four teams in one day Oct. 17 at George Mason. That day will feature the Hokies playing Coastal Carolina, Georgetown, Richmond and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

The Hokies will wrap up with the annual Orange vs. Maroon game on Oct. 23rd at 4 p.m. at Thompson Field.
