GREENSBORO, N.C. – Tack on one more award for Virginia Tech graduated senior Megan Will, as she was recently named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Women’s Lacrosse 2015 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced Monday by Commissioner John Swofford.
A first-time selection and the only member of the Hokies squad on the team, Will adds this to the other 2015 accolades she’s already received – All-ACC First Team, IWLCA All-South Region, and VaSID All-State Second Team.
Will, a native of Bel Air, Maryland, led the led the Hokies in scoring and points this season with 57 and 71, respectively. She scored in every game of her final season, and in 22 straight games dating back to her junior season.
She leaves Tech as the leader in all-time career points (227), while ranking second on the scoring list (177) and fifth in assists (50). She is one of just two players in Tech history to be ranked on all three career lists.

To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
