CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Senior Megan Will of the Virginia Tech lacrosse team was named to the 2015 University Division Women’s Lacrosse Second Team Wednesday morning, as voted on by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID). Virginia’s Casey Bocklet was named the state’s player of the year, while JMU head coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe was named the coach of the year, and Kim Egizi from Richmond earned VaSID Rookie of the Year honors.
Will, who was also an All-ACC first-team and IWLCA Division I All-South Region second-team selection, led the Hokies in scoring and points this year with 57 and 71, respectively. The Bel Air, Maryland, native scored in every game of her final season, and in 22 straight games dating back to her junior season.
