BLACKSBURG, Va. – Senior Megan Will has been named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I All-South Region second team. This is the first of such honors for Will, and the fifth time a Hokie has been named a selection.
The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes, 44 of which represent ACC-member schools, in Division I with a selection on one of the All-Regional teams for 2015. These student-athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams.
Will, an All-ACC First Team selection, led the Hokies in scoring and points this year with 57 and 71, respectively. The Bel Air, Maryland, native scored in every game of her final season, and in 22 straight games dating back to her junior season. Will leaves Tech as the all-time career points leader (227), while ranking second on the scoring list (177) and fifth on the assists list (50). She is one of just two players in Tech history to rank on all three career lists.
