BLACKSBURG, VA. – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the fall of 2014, and it begins action this week. Tech will get things started on Friday, Sept. 26 with its annual intra-squad, Orange vs. Maroon Scrimmage at 5 p.m. on the Moseley Practice Field.
The Hokies will hit the road the following weekend for their first play day of the fall when they travel to High Point on Saturday, Sept. 4. Tech will face Coastal Carolina, Queens and Old Dominion at the Panthers’ event.
With the Hokies not taking on the host team during the first play day, High Point travels to Blacksburg on Friday, Oct. 10 for a 7 p.m. game. The very next day Tech will head to Harrisonburg for a play day at JMU where it will take on conference newcomer, Louisville, as well as Japan and Richmond.
A week later, on Saturday, Sept. 18, the Hokies will host a play day of their own and go up against Cincinnati, Longwood and Davidson in the all-day event. Tech wraps the fall with a play day at Duke on Sunday, Oct. 26.
