GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team will face top-seeded Maryland in the opening round of the ACC Tournament hosted by Boston College. The game will be played Thursday, April 24 at 11 a.m.at Alumni Stadium on the Boston College campus. The Hokies faced the Terrapins in the regular season finale earlier Saturday and fell 22-12 to the No. 2 team in the nation.
The Tech/ Maryland matchup will be the first of four first-round games played on Thursday. Virginia and Duke will face off in the 4/5 game at 1 p.m., followed by second-seeded Syracuse taking on seven-seed Notre Dame at 3 p.m. The day will conclude with No. 3 North Carolina matching up against No. 6 Boston College at 5 p.m.
Play will continue with the semi finals on Friday April 25 and the tournament will wrap up on Sunday, April 27 with the championship game at 1 p.m. For more information about the tournament, click here.
