BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech lacrosse team and Head Coach Megan Burker have released the team’s fall schedule. The out-of-season slate includes three all-day events, as well as two individual games.
After two weeks of practice the squad will finally hit the game field on Saturday, Oct. 6 as it heads to Chapel Hill to take on conference foe North Carolina at 10 a.m. The following weekend, the Hokies will travel to Maryland to play the Terrapins and Rutgers on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 13.
Tech will take part in another play day on Sunday, Oct. 21 when it makes the trip to Ohio State to take on Marquette, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Duquesne in a full day of action.
As part of their busy final week of fall ball, Tech will make a midweek trip to Harrisonburg, Va., to take on James Madison on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m., before wrapping up its fall slate with a play day at Georgetown the following Saturday, Oct. 27. The Hokies will face host Georgetown, as well as Delaware and Temple that day.
