The Virginia Tech Athletics Department will hold the second annual HokieBird Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7, beginning at noon. The egg hunt will take place on Moseley Field located across from Lane Stadium and adjacent to Thompson Field. The event is free and open to all kids 12 and under. This year, more than 3,000 eggs and prizes will be up for grabs, including several mystery eggs containing great prizes!
In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt on April 7, the Tech softball team will play Florida State beginning at noon, baseball plays Boston College and women’s tennis plays Georgia Tech also at noon and lacrosse takes on Virginia at 1 p.m. Admission is free to each of these home events.
Hokie fans are also encouraged to attend the third annual HokieBird Spring Festival taking place on Saturday, April 21 from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Moseley Field prior to the annual Maroon-White football game. The spring festival will contain many activities for children, including inflatable games, interactive games, face painting and a visit by the HokieBird! The festival and all activities are free to the general public.
