MICHEAL THOMAS
- Was a 22nd round selection of the Detroit Tigers as a catcher in the 2014 MLB Draft
- Played two seasons in the Tigers organization, rising as high as the Lakeland Flying Tigers
- Attended the University of Kentucky and started over 100 games his final two seasons with the Wildcats
- As a senior, helped Kentucky to the 2014 NCAA tournament batting .315 with a .484 slugging percentage

- Spent the last five seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Maryland under Coach Szefc
- Was an assistant coach at Shippensburg for a season and coached the Alexandria Aces for two summers in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League
- Served as a volunteer assistant and student assistant coach for three seasons at Maryland while earning his degree
